If you have your music in more than one folder, try right clicking on all the folders and selecting add to db (database), then got to the parent folder and click on recurse.

I dont know if Numark Cue is different ( as everyone here said it is not) I think it is. All of you running VDJ dont have the problems I am getting.

You sound like my girlfriend.
"you don't understand me"
lol
I'm using the Numark Cue skin on my VDJ, I also tried the Numark Cue trial and i can't find any difference between them at all.
Have you tried changing the read id3 tag settings in the options?
Do your id3 tags match your file name?
Is it all songs you can't find, or just a few?
Can you tell us a bit more info? Are all your files in one folder?

Also, and i may be wrong, and i'm sure someone will correct me if i am, are your files named correctly?
I believe for the search to work properly, they should be named Madonna - Like A Virgin
with the - seperating the artist and the title.

Ok, so try this.
Delete the Local Database contents and rebuild your entire database.
-Right click Local Database - choose Delete CD - highlight drive and click delete.
** This only clears the index and not the files.
Before you add the files back - close VDJ/CUE and reopen the program.
Now to add new back you can do it by letting VDJ/CUE find the files on it's own --
-- Right click on Local Database and answer YES to the 'do you want to scan for files' box
-- OR, browse individually to the folder structure under the 'Desktop' in the left panel. **Now if you chose this method make sure the 'RECURSE' feature is selected first then right click and choose - 'Add to search DB'
Hope this helps and you get everything working.
