it was mentioned that it was possible to input an external source via line in to beatlock say a cd or vinyl deck..

Is this up and running yet if so how do i configure it?

You can already use the beatlock with cd using your PC cd device..

Can it only be done from the puter cd drive at the moment?

When i run with my full set up i have a external cd drive and sometimes even a vinyl deck plugged in as well, be excellent if these could be put through the line in??

Hmm actually i don't see any line-in config atleast in the trial version, so maybe this isn't supported after all..

you can use a line in item with Virtual DJ. In the main folder menu, choose sound card.
I haven't tried this yet... but it's there.
I believe this will allow you to select an external device plugged into the line in on your sound card.

(unless I totally misunderstood previous posts on the issue)

It's in the directory tree, under the desktop folder

Well that seems to work well, i tried connecting the laptop and desktop VDJ together via the external extigys on both..

couldnt get it to work on line out but it works ok on the speaker outs...

its quite strange seeing the visual beat footprint on a different puter...

But its great as i can use the main puter decks as normal, a third and fourth deck or sound source for extra loops and segways and the second puter can run my winamp visuals without putting any strain on the cpu in the main one....

The more i look at it the better it gets!!

Well done team
