(Using an external mixer, with 2 different inputs from L-R decks. No external control, just the mouse.)
I'm always busy with requests and karaoke, in addition to mixing dance music.
Someone might come up 3 seconds before a mix-point, and start talking to me, and I'm a split-second late on the mix. Then, I have to go for the pitch-bend button to compensate.
(This can happen even without an interruption, if I'm not exactly "in the groove" that night.)
I have cues set up at the breaks, and have played around with auto-mixing, but I don't need the machinery to move the crossfader...........I just want the machine to hit the mix-point EXACTLY when I need it. (Not auto-mix........but "assisted-mix.")
Are there settings for this?? I wish there was a simple "Auto-Start-on-Next-CuePoints" function, with no crossfader movement at all.
This would be easy to program, I think. The auto-mix as it is now is almost TOO funtional for me.
