Hi all I have had another look at my install
when I drag a song into the player it doesn't start loading until i start playing the file
I believe this is the reason I'm getting crashes
Am I missing something or do I have to change the settings ?

Sorry but there is no link with "Performance" in this "problem". As said above, just select a good value in the option "max load"
