Topic: Strange problem w/beat sync

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

I have a strange problem that has popped up twice in the last month while performing. I'm using VDJ professional v4.2 on a HP Pavillion DV9000 laptop with Intel Core Duo 1.66 processor and 2Gb of RAM.

When I'm mixing and use the BPM sync feature, sometimes (twice) it doesn't reset on the next song. If the new song's BPM speed is detected wrong (even though I know the songs will mix), the pitch will start to change automatically in the middle of the track, and I can't stop it. If I click on the zero to reset the pitch, it shakes like it's trying to reset, but won't do it. The pitch will stay messed up on every song played on that side (side 2, or the RH side, if I remember correctly). The only thing I can do to reset the pitch is close and restart VDJ. Then it works fine again. Any ideas?
