Topic: How legal are self-made mp3g

Hello guys!

I was wondering, If I have a legally obtained mp3 file, and I make myself a cdg file to it, will it be legal to play in bars, etc?

I see no problem there cos I have not modified the mp3 file, I am just displaying another file which has nothing to do with the original song.

Please tell me what you think/know about this topic.
