FOR SCRATCH:
Can VDJ dev team make a feature so that you can mute reverse for scratch? ;)
That would be awesome..
what I mean, is NO SOUND when moving vinyl/cd (timecode) backwards option for scratch
OR, make this possible for plugin developers
(and even mute forward if its easy to implement)

hi dj-in-norway
you like to do it in a simple way ?
I made two kill buttons for each player.
one button for a kill only when it's down, and one button for a kill who kills the volume until you push again.
and normaly i use my mixtable (crossfader).
So what i wanna say is.. you can push the killbutton while you're sratching
But..... it's an option just for making this easier.

hehe
I know, I know...
I have a mute button made, but thats not the issue..
The issue is that it would be a nice "easy to use" feature for beginners, and also something that other DJ scratch software have now implemented... So would make VDJ have a feature that seems to be interesting for some...
As you now, DJ's use crossfader to mute the backward (or forward) sound to make a scratch sound better .. Now, many DJ software add this as a feature, after all it is a computer, and can assist in some ways, at least for beginners.. ;)
PCDJ have for example added this, so I guess someone might want it..
Its not really for me ;) lol... I don't scratch mutch ;)
It was just an idea for a feature some might like.. ;)

Sounds really cool to have such an option to easy scratch in vdj! I sure like the sound of that. Even better if there are several scratch-modes you can use, like the backward-mute, forward-mute and so on. (I know there are official terms for these scratches, but I don't know them) :)

yeah...
If not made in to the main program, at least make it possible for plugin-developers to make such scratch mode plugins:
- reverse mute
- forward mute
- stabbing backwards (emulate fast crossfader movement)
etc.. ;)
that would make a great app for newbie timecode vinyl users.. before they master it manually.. ;)
