The guy at guitar center told me Maya 44 usb interface is almost the M-Audio Fast Track Pro Mobile USB Audio/MIDI Interface

inserts for outboard effects
balanced and unbalanced analog outputs
S/PDIF digital I/O
MIDI I/O
near-zero latency direct hardware monitoring
low-latency ASIO software monitoring
A/B source switch
dual output pairs for DJ-style cueing
insert jack (¬" TRS) for outboard processors
1/4", RCA, XLR, and MIDI inputs.
So if this does not work what should I get when I am ready to get.
Also the laptop I have is dell insparino 6000 with P4, 512mb ram, 80Gig & intergrated sound card.
