I'm using a new laptop and going to purchase an external sound card today, any advice? I need something affordable, but will allow me to listen with to headphones with the internal sound card and line out to the stereo with the external sound card. any opinions on the small cheap ones from turtle beach etc.?

i'm having the same issue, i am a new user and want to know about cheap external sound cards that will allow me to use 2 turntables with TCV, and also let me have a separate headphone output (one output for headphones, and the other for stereo system). i have a laptop currently (Dell inspiron 600m, pentium m centrino, 2.2ghz, 512 ram, asio4all driver) if you need any more info let me know. i want to know how much money i will have to invest in this before i purchase VDJ. thanks
