Does this program work for Mac PC or Laptops

The Mac version of Virtual DJ isn't out yet, but it's being worked on. There is a software called Numark Cue (Virtual DJ under a different name) which can be used with Macs.

Virtual DJ will work on laptops.

VDJ Pro that is. ;)

Ive got friends on Macs using the software under the boot camp start-up running Windows XP. It's not stable though.

Numark Cue? Just now hearing of this - is it the same company/product as VDJ just under a different name for marketing reasons? Whats the story?

Thanks!

its virtual dj sold by numark

Yes, we know.

Thanks microsoft for your ungodly incompetence!

As soon as the Mac version is released, I'm dumping XP in the trash on my Mac where it belongs - actually I'm just gonna revert my MacBook Pro's hard drive to a single partition/volume using Boot Camp, but the aforementioned method sounded better for dramatic effect ;) - and then taking a bath in holy water to rid myself completely of microsoft's "evil and problematic plague"... I mean "windows".

;)

It's coming. ;)

If I were to buy the Pro Edition and become a Pro user, would I be able to get the beta version for MAC OS X ?

if you buy pro you will be entitled to the mac edition free when it comes out

beta is for vip and above ;)

Now will the Mac Pro version be able to mix music videos too?

yes :)

You mean VDJ Pro Mac version. =)

Just clarifying in case anyone thinks that you might be saying that there will be a version of VDJ specifiacally for Mac Pro's: http://www.apple.com/macpro/

Visual/video mixing is a major feature of VDJ and is not platform specific. =)

So as sky said in response to your question, "yes :)".

In the mean time, while we ALL wait for the awesome VDJ for mac to come out, is there any other software that does the Auto BPM or that's ALMOST AS GOOD as VDJ? (We all know there's nothing close to VDJ) that anyone would recommend? BESIDE TRAKTOR

im my opinion you need only ever use vdj but i see your predicament

if you can prehaps it might be better to wait or run vdj via bootcamp

I have a G4 iBook, Bootcamp is only for PENTIUM type Macs. Any options you guys can think to get the windows base version to run on a G4 besides bootcamp?
