Many djs tend to want to do a mix as they here dj so and so doing it but i dont buy this. for folks to like you they must see UNIQUE about your thing so, simply sit down and develop your own style.
personally in uganda where i do it from, iam basically a mobile dj when am playin on a wedding and its dance time i usually start with old skool ,some local flavour, a little reggea, rnb,and now its up In the sky and i try to mix in a style i call CRISP MIXING whereby you hardly notice a change from 1 song 2 another. thats why a friend of mine called me dj steady. so guyz identify an interesting style good for your audience and drivve it to perfection.

Depending on the audience I have different ways to mix or to fade from a style to another.

Also depending on the style is better to mix with more samples or do more backspins.
