Topic: HUMMING PROBLEMS

hi all
i recently bought the mark 2 hercules mixer and when i run it on my desktop i get nominal noise but when i run it thru my laptop and out into a boss 303 dr.sample and into an amp i get a really bad squeely hum as im using this to dj i dont need the extra noise as it is bloody embarrasing!!! LOL
can anyone help?

try plugging your laptop into a different plug than the amp :) and mixers

could be current noise

yep all fine when i run without mains cable but obviously only short amount of mixin time b4 battery rus dry!
will chase down one of these little kerjiggers to stop humming as i think disconnecting earth could inevitibly fry my system

*Get a ground loop eliminator... every dj should have one, at least if you play different venues.

Its cheap, and can be bought on local radio stores
