the mk2 has 2 out not 3 out
so you need another card with single out aslo for 3 line
you need 3 line because 2 are used as mixing
and
one is used for preview =)

in my techy experiance as a support technican
celeron processors have issues with multimedia , but that should be ok
however
thats a small amount of ram its possible the bad noises are because your pcs resources are overstrained
i would recomend a upgrade to 1 or 2 gig if possible aslo try some of the tuneup advice here
