Better TC Vinyls, When?
or
why not make it work with any TC Vinyls up there (specialy from Serato).
The VDJ software is very solid and stable right now for a very long time and i'm sure will get more customers everyday specialy the ones using different TC systems.
Make it work with any TCVinyl or design a better record:

with

1. At least 2 tracks on both sides
2. Side A with 33 and side B with 45 and side C with 77 (hehehe joking)
3. Better deeper grooves, much cleaner look.
4. Nice funky label....or maybe....hmm....make your own and stickit. (©2007 Funky-T :) i can design the template).

*Better vinyl, better mixing, better performance...for us the vinyl freaks.

in the usa/canida soon there will be gen 3 timecoded vinyls we will have more details soon of what new developments they have

as to the stickers if it bothers you , why dont you make your own any way :)

Records are all about compromise. In order to have deeper grooves you have to have a thicker record also if you can get an engineer to cut deeper grooves in the lacquer master you run the risk of rejection from the pressing and plating plant as it increases their failure rate. There is no such things as tracks on a record. You have one groove from start to finish on any given record. The spaces you see on the record are actually larger spiral cut grooves but there is actually no space there. A standard maxi vinyl record has 12 minutes on either side. Sometimes you can push it to 14 but that has its drawbacks as well. Gen3's will be here soon for the us and canada.

HAHAHA...

...what do you think about option 2 and 4 ?
or do you guys have any other ideas, come on say it (Serato vinyl looks gorgeous right ?)
let's make a revolution, let's make VirtualDJ the best in the world (hmm...i think it is the best because i'm using it). :)

In regards to option 2 -

side C having 77 is impossible. We need 8-track tape support on side C, everyone knows that. You must be new. ;)

As for option 4 -

A funkier label is a definite must, but we've got to use a better dj name on it.

I'm thinking of something that starts with a "C"... and ends in "onQuest". ;)

Yup. That'll do it.

Send it to packaging and ship 'em out, we're done here.

=D
