Topic: How do I lock the turn table

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

Every time I try to scratch using the wheel and hold the wheel the turntable keeps playing.It makes it hard for me because i keep losing the part were i want to scratch.Is there A way i can keep it from doing that?

maybe lower your performence tab? do u have use jogs to scratch on the remote control tab enabled?
 
oh yes, USE AUTO LATENCY!!!!!!!!!!!
 
To ask a simple question, have you tried this from paused?

The performance and latency options do not apply to you as a home edition user. (Sorry Wes)

hey format, why dont they apply? meaning latency and perfromence
 
They are only in the 4.X versions. I suggest home users let us know that you are useing the demo of 4.2 or just the home version, it would help alleviate some confusion.
