since it's not possible to record only the left or right channel in virtual dj - i was thinking of opening winamp for example, letting a beat play there and then record the scratching i want in virtual dj.
The problem is that i get a bad direct sound error in winamp when virtual dj is open.
Can i somehow share the driver so i can open and play both programs at the same time?

you can record turn both chanels to external mode
and put the crossfader in the middle and use the volume sliders to mix
i think the asio driver will work on one recording program at once only
