I've been having a little play with Traktor and it has a few things I would like to see in VDJ (or do they exist?)
The one i'm missing the most now I'm back using VDJ (the BPM engine works far better) is loop nudging. I often loop 8/16 bars from the track I'm mixing out of, and do it on the fly, but don't always get the timing right, so if I've looped a particular part I end up with a bit at the end of the loop that doesn't fit well. Does this feature exist in VDJ, or are there plans to bring it in?
The other feature I like is the way Traktor allows you to rate your tracks - I find this very useful, when I've got a load of new tunes

has many looping options for looping on the fly :)
loop in loop out ,
1/2 1/4 , 2 , 4 , 6 , 8 ect
and higher amounts usking keyboard shortuts

in virtual dj use the comment field to rate the song or say what u think of it :)
remember pro is alot beter than home edtion which is 2.4
we are now using 4.2 :)

The loop feature can do what you want.
There is a loop_move feature that will enable you to move the loop.

Skyfxl, do you ever actually read a topic? At least try with the title...
And yes, loop_move is the feature your want to use lemonzorba, either with controller/keyboard or via skin. An example of skin that handles it well is Mix Station (only available for pro users).

yeah, i've discovered today that using other skins can add a lot to your experience. I've found a skin that allows you to nudge loops pretty well, but the cross faders are really crammed up small.
Other than that its a great skin - BOANERGES.
I will check out loop_move and hope I can get it on home user edition.

I've found something even better yet Yay!
The skin Obsidian is very powerful when it comes to loops and has all the features that Traktor has when it comes to loop nudging etc
I recommend checking it out
