hey, I just got a legit song from newmusicserver.com, and I played it in winamp, then I tried to play a song in VDJ, and I got a VDJ message in the taskbar and it said "winamp sucks for doing....) I couldn't maximize it, or read anything else.... but it froze my machine up. I exited vdj, and all was well again... any idea? it was obviously a VDJ message, but i couldn't even read the whole message....
strange! What gives Dev team? do you know anything about this?
Thanks! Steve

Did you have the Sonique video effects running? Some of these will do this if they detect Winamp is present (Usually only if it's running at the same time as VDJ.)

yes, the exact message in the taskbar is "winamp sucks for doing..." and that's all I could read...
the files are clean, they're just a 320 cbr mp3....
sonique was running, but they've been running side by side for 3 years with no problem... I'm more interested in learning the history behind the cryptic "winamp sucks" message! :)
