this might seem like a dumb question but is the download the same as the boxed version? will i have access to all the updates and plugins for free? Is the download the pro version?

yes;)
The downloadable internet version is the same as the boxed version, both are the pro version, and give same access to effects and more ;)

well i have to set this up and get all the bpms in order first before i use this live.
right now, i use traktor 3 with final scratch 2 scratch amp
(which works flawlessly with vdj at 64(1ms) latency btw) ,
2 vestax pdx 2000's,
3 channel umx mixer
and a biostar cube pc
(3.2ghz ht pentium 4, 1 gb crutial ram, 350 gb maxtor hard drive, and a xtasy Radeon 9550 video card) and i love it but it just doesn't have the options vdj has! Im making a dvd collecetion as i speak and i have to wait til after my new years gig so i can get the nuo4 midi mixer, another sound asio sound card, and the gemini cdt-05's so i can use the multi - instance mode and video mixing feature to its fullest!!! when i start using vdj live, i'll post some pics of my sound, lights, and of course, me using vdj.
How do i post video and pics on here?

djcarby> You will love the Ecler NUO4 It works great with the latest release of VDJ. Also if your looking for a nice high end sound card, I would suggest the Motu UltraLite or the emu1616m. I have had both cards and both work great, however with the motu you get more inputs and outputs, and the prices is about the same as the emu1616m.
Also welcome as a pro user.

thanks for the advice! i am still deciding weather i should use 1 high end sound card with 8 or more in's and out's or two seperate soundcards. i plan on using multi instance mode and using all 4 channels to do instrumental and accapella remixes on the fly and also, i was told that if you want to map out the nuo4 to use the video x fader with the x fader of the mixer, u have to map out atleast one channel to vdj. why is that by the way?
