Topic: HELP WITH MY Hercules MK2

Hey guys i just got my Hercules MK2 for christmas and i installed everything and for some reason only my right jog works. I tried to download the newiest drivers and i had no luck. any suggestions would help.. thanks

Did you load a song to the left deck?
(left jog is for left deck)

Just asking to make sure...

Because if that doesnt work, your unit might be broken, and you might have to return it for a new one.

Might be yes... never heard of anyone having just one jog work, sorry.

But to make sure you have set it up right :

- Enable Hercules in the CONTROLLER tab in Virtual DJ settings
(green light lids up)

And if you have any mapper (Hercules mappers, that you have downloaded from some site), remove them. You shouldnt have one installed , if you havent intentionally searched such mappers and installed them


So, if you done the above, I'd return it for a new one

But dont worry, Hercules is super nice on returns ;)

Yeah i guess il just have to reurn it, but i do have another question. Im trying to use the headphones but when i plug them in and try to switch between decks i can not hear anything

Are you using the VDJ version that came with the software?
And have latest driver update from Hercules?

If so, the headphone works great.

IF not, I'm afraid your unit might be broken in more ways than one.. .

Sorry to hear you being so unlucky, as it is your Christmas present, and I bet you wanna play.
But return it first day after Christmas, for a brand new working one;)
