I use ver.3.4. I tried hooking up my 7.1 internal card using the 4.1 config and checking the 7.1 box.
However, I couldn't get the headphones to work. Is there a specific plugin location for the headphones?
I put the speakers in the Front L/R slot and the headphones in the Rear Speaker slot. Still no headphones??
What am I missing? The manual says something about a selector switch??
The picture in the sound config shows a green slot and a black one for the headphones, exactly what does this refer to??
I ended up using the advanced config and headphones from Rear to make it work, but that shouldn't have been necessary, or should it.
Also, the headphone volume was very very low, tried different headphones too. Checked the volume levels in the computer and sound card and phones as well? What can be causing this, and what can I do to get it much louder?
