Hi, I am trying to mix in a track while listening to one, on my ear phones. I always seem to hear both track on my ear phones though. I do have a on bourd Sound card and my mother bourd is pritty new. Are there any setting I can use to help?

in soundconfig choose headphone mode and assign channels ul need a 4.1 card or a 7.1

depends if u have a 4.1 or a 7.1 card
you probaly dont need it :)
but if you wish to use timecode u might wana make the step to a usb card
