Topic: soundcard for rackmount pc

I'm putting together a rackmount pc & I was wondering what soundcard I should use that vdj likes & sounds good?

How many Units will the rackmount be? can u fit the cards without a pci-e/agp or pci riser? or does it need low profile cards?
 
The rack will be 3 rack space.
