Topic: VirtualDJ freezing when loading video / some audio

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

Whenever I load a video in VirtualDJ, the application freezes for about 30 seconds or so, but any video playing continues. Once the videos appeared, VirtualDJ runs fine. I get this problem occasionally with music too, only the music will loop until VirtualDJ starts responding.

Can anyone give me any pointers to why this is?

what version are you using?
 
I'm using 4.0.
 
please get the latest demo 4.1r2 many issues solved
 
The problems persist in the trial. Could this be a codec thing? :O
 
4.0 Trial is no longer even available. not to mention it's been months since it should have expired/
Maybe that time to enter your serial?
No support for version not from this site, sorry.
