I'm new to the dj mixing thing and I'd like to get into it, first what I'd like to do is remix a song with something else.
I was in a club last weekend and the DJ playes license ti kill by gladys knight and is was top, he increased the tempo and put some good drum beats to it, it was excellent!!!
Sorry if I'm not using the correct terminology.
Can anyone guid as to what software I'd need to be able to remix a song, also my mate adds film clips and sound effects into his mixes, over original tracks.
Any help would be much aprreciated

virtual dj is a good place to start :)
its good to learn on and does video mixing
