Topic: DVD RIP SETTINGS

I am having trouble changing the DVD rip to MPEG OR DIVX. They are greyed out and unselectable.

Also, is there a video resolution setting? I rip one dvd and it takes up 8M of space. Is there a compression setting somewhere that can make the Videos a smaller size?
