Topic: Error in the sound driver of Direct X

Just installed V2.01 and i'm the above message when I lauch VDJ.

its because the console/soundcard you used last time, is not connected when u restart VDJ..

Change the the soundcard you are using now, and close VDJ..
restart, and the error message is gone :)

at least was that the case for me

I still get the same message and after I start it up again the database is corrupt. The only time it seems not to crash is when I use advanced config.

Also rather than reinstalling devices you can open VDJ by going to the root folder and executing the crashguard exe. This will allow you to see the error.....(error in direct x of soundcard) and hit ok. VDJ will now open. You can deselect the usb soundcard that gave you a hassle until you reboot. Also as DJ-In-Norway said unplug and plug back in can solve this.

Install the sound card then change it in the sound config and the card can now be removed without problems.
