I'm putting together a rackmount pc What is a great soundcard to put internal?

Just get external one and you can't fail. If it will be in rack, all yout connectors will be out of rack, so at the back perhaps. So you will need to plug them out of rack and it will be strange to see. Get external one, plug it to usb port that can be mounted into rack and you can hide the unit and all cables.

The only problem is if they don't make it, is it going to be as easy to get support/repair for it?

they will have to still support it

for the lengh of its warenty

Well.. support will allways be there as long as manufacturer exist. And i really doubt about repairing such a thing. If it is still in guarantee, you will get new one (manufacturer allways keep some products for backup), if it is not under guarantee, you simply buy new.

After all, U46DJ is great.
