I hope someone can Help.. I have a MAYA 44 USB with the 2.53 drivers and windows XP home on a compaw CORE DUO laptop. WHen I first turn on the unit I have to plug and unplug the maya 44 usb cable several times from the computer - sometimes 5-10 times before the system and virtual DJ will recognize all the ASIO channels. Once it recognizes all is good. I have tried to uninstall and reinstall the 2.53 driver but I still have the same issue, How can I resolve this?

Perhaps what you need is to reinstall your usb drivers, it looks like if they are not recognizing the interfase, try to connect it to a 2.0 port.
BTW:check your usb cable is in good condition or replace it

hi,
if you use something else in your usb ports, it might be a power failiure. You should try a powered usb hub.

Also, 2.5.5 is the latest drivers for the Maya 44 usb, you might try that. You can get it from the audiotrak website.
