in all the videos I play, there is a green bar going from top to bottom....what gives?

means your video card doesn't support hardware acceleration. Not much you can do except turn off the accleration in the video tab.

I had the same thing happen to me I eventually updated the video driver. You can also try the Windows Media decoder, that was a temporary fix. If not, then turn off hw acceleration

Theres no real work around, more than likely it's an Intel graphics chipset they just don't support Hardware Accel.

well, i have the cracks and pops and skipping in my tracks, thankfully these issues are on my desktop at home that i use for other purposes, not dj work. my laptops run it fine. thanks guys!
