Topic: DJC Mapper for MkII

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

Hello

I have just purchased Virtual DJ 4.1 r2 to enable me to download the DJC mapper to reassign my Cue Button to a STOP(&cycle through cues).

I downloaded and installed the mapper. Went to EFFECT / EXTERNAL DEVICES and started mapper. I can reassign keys and apply. However, this has no effect at all - no changes to the MkII buttons.

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks

sam eproblem here but im on the mk 1 console.
I downloaded the djc 4.0 + mapper but doesnt assign functions to my console for some reason.
The old version used to work ok but the updated version doesnt work.

With DJ Console it works

Try in mode ASIO ... !

Actually im using VDJ 4.1r2 + mapper 4.1 HDJC MKI

Only worked in Asio mode..

Good luck

I'm having the same issue. The mapper has no effect.

I've also found another oddity.

If I disable the Hercules DJC in settings, then renable it the mapper will work but the CPU usage goes up to 100% and stays there until I shut down VirtualDJ and restart it, then of course the mapper does not work again.

Yes i already know it

Cool, at least I know it's not just me!

same here! i thought i was doing something wrong!!

Cel,

Thanks for your work on the MK2 mapper for v4.1
Even with its high cpu usage, it makes my job alot easier. I have been able to remove 2 midi controllers by remapping some of the knobs and buttons of the MK2.

Do you need any feedback or logging to help resolve the cpu issue? If so, let me know. I use the mapper for at least 4 hours each week, usually much more.

DJ Cel,

I too appreciate all your work, in fact I am just now begining to realize how much I've come to depend on the mapper for videos!!

I'm sure you are doing your best to correct the problems ASAP. Do you have a rough estimate as to when you might have a new version? I'm just trying to decide if I should wait or figure out a way around it.

Thanks

Steve

Hercules is already working on a driver update;)

:)

Hi DJCel, thanks for the work! I could beta test your mapper, just tell me, regards...

I have already uploaded a v4.1.1 on the website
