Topic: How to send vid to external source

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

I have used several programs to show vid in the club but they all asked at start up to enable external vid how do i do this with virtual dj 4.1 i am using Dell inspiron 6000 if that helps

go to display settings on control pannel

and select settings tab

and you need to enable external monitors / mulitpul monitors

you will need to press the right key short cuts

on dell i think its Fn and F5 to switch to external mode
 
I would like to know in video mode how to get the external screen to only show the video or the video effect not my desktop can anyone help
 
i think i will make a guide :)
