Topic: Hercules Sound

I purchased the hercules dj console and I need to turn the gain up higher than I would going directly through my other sound card which is a sound blaster external sound card and also the sound still isn't as full. Doesn't the dj console have a built in sound card; if so, is it not that good or what could be the problem? I am connected to 1 & 2 on the dj console and the other end to two channels on my mixing console.

Are your volume faders in the Hercules Mixer (green alien head) to the maximum?

The only other thing I noticed is that I can scratch with the mouse and if I enable the stick that works too, but if I disable the stick and try to scratch with the jog wheel, instead of scratching it squeals. What could be the problem?

You can scratch with the jogwheels only with version 2 of VirtualDJ.
