Topic: Hercules DJ Console Mk2 - What microphone?

I have the Hercules DJ Console Mk 2 and I am wondering if anyone can recommend a decent mid price microphone that I should buy to use with it. I want something that I could use for pubs/clubs.

hi you can use any dynamic mic

id recomend an omni directional mic

cant use condensers as no phantom power
 
I have been told the Shure Beta SM58 is the one to go for - what do you think?
