is there an effect out there that works with the video. like if i hit the echoo effect will the video freeze frame or do i have to buy some othe effect gen to make something like that happen.also why when i try to download certain skins, effect, etc i get the statement, you need virtual dj install first when it already installed

Some of the effects are only for version 4, others are only for 3.4. Please read the comments at each effect and check if it is for the version you use. You could also try downloading again: The folders in VDJ are changed, so probably the installation files downloaded long ago, will not work anymore.
