Topic: Plugin Effects Not Working in VDJ v 4???

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

Hey Guys!

Has anyone here had trouble with using the plug-in effects like the sound or video effects in VDJ v4?
I seem to be able to only play the flippin doubles plugin and even that does work out probally.
All the other effects that are orignially installed with the new update VDJ cant be ativated.
And even when I try to use them, VDJ crashes or displays the error message - "Error opening XML plugin file".

I would be greatly appreciated If someone can help me with this issue!
AS I have had to DJ at party without the plug-ins :(

Did you try downloading the newest plugins from the page? 3.4 plugins don't work with version 4.

Some plugins are still under development for version 4, meanwhile you can download those that cioce gave you.

I have the same problem with the effects. I downloaded the one that says for vdj 4 and they still don't work.

I tried downloading the new plug-ins and I still have the same problem of it not working! I have also reinstalled VDJ 4 about 4 times!:( Any other ideas???

exactly what plugins are they
some require the latest version of DX9c (august 2006)

Pretty much all the plug-ins - video and sound effects and I have installed the latest Direct X drivers and still nothing works!

They are all showing up, but I just cant activate them! Otherwise when I try it will show an error as described above or VDJ will crash

You can post this Topic in the plugins forum I'm sure a Plugin Developer will be of more help.
Sounds like somethings missing they should know what exactly it is
why not delete all the plugins from the VDJ folder and try reinstalling them then, or even delete the whole VDJ folder and registry keys after uninstalling, so that you can do a clean install

Thanks Mate for all the advice! Your a real help!

I'll take the problem to the plug-in developers and see what they come up with! If I find out the soultion, I'll post it here for anyone else who has the same problem.In addition I'll try reinstalling and this time also deleting the registry files!
