Topic: Rip Vinyl saving/config error

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

Hi, I'm having a problem with Rip Vinyl.

I tried to change the bitrate settings and now everytime I go to save the recording it gives me the error "Impossible to save 'C:\etcetc' "

I've tried resetting the bitrate but it no longer saves the changes I make. Specifically, the bitrate drop down menu is always defaulted back to a blank choice. I can't get it to stay on a specific bitrate, or any of them for that matter.

Is there a way to reset the program to it's original state, or a quick fix to resolve this without my having to reinstall ALL of Virtual DJ??

Oh and a very quick question: What exactly is the slider by the config button? I an't really understand what it does.

Thanks VERY MUCH for your time and attention.

Yea I have the encoder and i've tried reloading it. Alas, nothing happens. Is there some way to just redownload just rip vinyl?

I'm not sure that's volume level, since using doesn't increase or decrease the volume.
