Both of my players (left/right) are coming out of the gigaport channels 1&2.
I've gone into config and checked the setup:
OUTPUT: external mixer
SOUND CARDS: 2 Cards
SOUND CARD1: Gigaport
SOUND CARD2: Gigaport
OUTPUT CHANNELS: Left Deck first card/Right Deck second card
Gigaport using WDM drivers.
I've tried changing the setup to other configs, then resetting it.
Nothing seems to fix this.
Any ideas?
Thank.

First off are you really running 2 Gigaport cards?
If not then your going down the wrong path.
Also why are you using the WDM drivers? Do you have an alternative need?
Use the ASIO drivers your config will get much easier!

Only one gigaport.
I'm using the WDM because I need it for other applications. You can't use both.
My setup worked fine with Vdj 3.4 -- not sure why the config options were changed to be less flexible.

Gigaport under wdm should be set as a 4.1 card.

I'll give that a shot tonight (though I think I already did).
Thanks

No luck. I tried quad sound, 4.1 and 5.1, restarting VDJ in between each. Still not working. Why are the channels not directly addressable within the config? (the gigaport has 8 after all).
It's working fine with PCDJ.
Any other ideas?

Did you set your card in 5.1 mode in Windows?

Yes. Still doesn't work. This is slightly annoying as I had no problem in 3.4

smittydc - Any luck?
I just tried this with mine in WDM.
Output: External
Sound Cards: 4.1
Sound Card: Gigaport
Output - Left Deck: Front / Right Deck: Center
I get stereo 1&2 for my left deck and stereo 3&4 for the right deck.
Beyond that, can't help.

sometimes it shows up as 1,2 and 5,6 in wdm mode as well. Too bad he can't use asio mode the giga works great in asio mode. It was the way esi intended it to be used and not crippled by windows wdm.
