Topic: Pitch Problem with v4.0 [problem solved ]

I'm trying to figure out why when I play songs with version 4.0 they aren't on tempo when I play the same song in other programs (i.e. Winamp, Windows Media Player, etc.). When the pitch is at 0 it doesnt sound right. I have to put the pitch at about 2.5 to get it to match the other programs. Anybody know why? Anybody else having the same issue?

using timecode?
 
nope, using just the software itself.
 
hmm.. Im using the time code and it appears that with timecode its taking time to respond to the key-lock to keep the vocals from sounding like a chipmunk (like master tempo on the CDJ800's) ..hmmm
 
Just tested mine. Plays at exactly same speed as Winamp. Sometimes Frequency settings might effect the pitch. Check your soundcard settings for 44khz or 48khz.
 
Set the latency in the performace tab to AUTO
 
^^Thanks abnorm. It was a sampling rate issue. The Maya44 was set to 44, and was causing the problem. Thanks for your help.
