Topic: Capturing video from VDJ

By what means can I capture (record) my video mix'z using VDJ ???

Not yet at the moment. Maybe there will be possible once ;) You have to use external software or hardware to do that.
External HD video recorder is great choice.

Can Sony Vegas 6.0 capture from an internal source like the onboard video card ???

i tryed only with external HD recorder. it makes perfect recordings ;)

Already did this a long time ago, FRAPS is the name of the software.

When I used fraps it only recorded 30 seconds at a time though, not sure if there is a way around this, maybe someone on here knows how to make it record longer?

Another program I've tried was Capture Pad 0.1 beta, which is freeware, however, I could never get it to capture VDJ video [I did make other screen captures though so it does work, just not with VDJ when I run video], it seemed to crash every time, but it might be stable for some people :).

If you have any kind of video IN on your PC [TV card, USB A/V capture device etc.] then, probably, the best way to capture VDJ video is to feed your 2nd screen output [from your video card] back into your PC through the video-in device and record direct from there [on the PC you run VDJ on] using any supplied software or free video capture software [such as windows movie maker].

How can I remove that Virtual DJ bitmap tag found @ the lower right hand corner ???

In the config/options, under video, theres a check box for 'hide logo', just check that :)

The Demo version is limited, but if you buy the full edition, all limitations are removed ....

yea fraps iz hot!! n for tha money n what u can do...;-). I think Fraps n Vdj Pro r the best purchases i've ever made for my dj'in since when i swiched over to cdtt's ..hehehe
