Hey peoples,

Is there any way to broadcast and record a performance? I understand that inside VDJ I can only do one of the other... so is there another work around?

Thanks

you could always broadcast using VDJ and record using another program running in the background.. just setup the settings in that program or windows mixer to record your own soundcard's stereo mix or something :)

I thought about that. I could use SOund Forge, but it's a rather memory intensive application. Any small apps that can record in WAV or MP3 format? (sugestions?)

smallest, least CPU hungry : Windows sound recorder ;)

Thanks, but Windows Sound Recorder only works up to 60 seconds. There are a few work arounds for this app, but none that are or of real value.

Thanks though.

... and DJ Norway, hope you dont work all weekends.

I'm leaving for a gig right now, but will try to take sunday off everything ;) hehe

Did not know that Windows recorder only allows 60s .. what a shame! hehe..
But there are SOOOOOO many free recorder shareware that will record your main sound from your soundcard... ;)

Some are pretty small cute apps, that dont take much memory

Check out the free program Audacity from www.audacity.com

It's awsome!! I use it all the time to record.
