Hi all,

I was planning to buy the hercules mk2 console. I read the online manual and they say that the console must be plugged in the pc in order to work. on the same site, faq section, they say that it is necessary only for the power.

In case vdj or the pc crashes, can I use the mk2 console as a traditional mixer, provided that I plugged in a cd player in the mk2 and that I'm using a self-powered usb hub.

That, just to have the time to reboot without stopping the music...

Thanks,
Pier

DjConsole is just midi compatible USB controller. It uses software to efect on music. You can't use as stand alone mixer. It is only VDJ controller.

Thanks!

I thought you could use the MK2 as a mixer without the computer as long as you go and buy a power supply?? Just checking.
