is there any way which would able me to use the effects in Windows Media Player on my vdj

You mean the visual effects?

If that's it then, no it isn't possible to use them with VDJ.

Only .svp files can be used.
 
I disagree. You can use Windows Media Player or Winamp effects with any sound source, but the player has to be running.
 
true, you can choose any input. at least mic ;)
