While doing a performance, the music continues to play but insted of sound I got
static. I was able to Quickly Switch over to a CD player but, I wasn't able to get VDJ
working until I closed it then reopened... Any Idea why this happened"?
this happened after about 2hr of no problem play.
I have a HDJC and a Dell d620 1.6G Duo Core with 1gig of ram
THE HDJC is plugged into an external mixer which also has Regular analog CD players attached

Are you using ASIO drivers? The same thing happened to me at the club yesterday. The weird thing is I tested the setup at home for 2 hours with no problems. My ASIO latnecy was set to 10ms, which should be more then enough to stop from skipping. Very strange... I don't know what might have been different at the club then what I had at home except for the external mixer.
Anyhow...try playing with the latency setting and hopefully version 4 will fix this problem.

Well It didn't do it last night... So I was lucky.. I did change the
HDJC setting from ASIO to WDM... That might have fixed it
only thing is the Hercules DJ Console doesn't work well with Time coded CDs (For Scratching)
in WDM mode.
until I am confident with this setup. I keep my regular CD player Ready with a mix CD attached to my
external mixer, haha
Thanks,
