since this card is able to hardware timestretch and pitch sound, can this card just time stretch and pitch everything instead of software drivers for it ? I have the card recently bought and this 'karaoke' player reveals its true power.
At the creative site you can listen to a demo about the quality of hardware timestretching, while utilising no additional cpu. Perhaps a thought ?

For a demonstration - i encoded an mp3 and zipped it. Yes i did timestretch it beyond the range you normally wont mix it. But just to let you hear the extreme min and max hw. stretching and quality of it realtime.
