Hey, guys...

I'm getting into a lot more original production and so bought myself some extra components for a home studio (studio speakers, sub, roland SPD-20, Handsonic HPD-15, drum machine foot controls, mixer, controllers, etc)

Now i have all my studio setup and want to hear some reccomendations for programs. I've been looking around at things like Nero Soundtrax, Ableton Live!, Sony Acid, etc.... im assuming this forum is the "go-to" guys and was hoping you all could offer insight on the various recording/editing programs out there and some good ideas on what to buy. Thanks!

For music production I personally use Cubase SX2 (very professional tool for editing, composing, recording, etc.) rewired with Reason. For simple wave editing and conversions I use Adobe Audition.

If you're on mac, I strongly suggest Logic Pro.

Regards.
