There could be found some more info on this forum already. At the top of this forum enter "dmx01" without the quotes in the search bar. You could also do the same in the general forum. This will give you some threads about this mixer.

thats great thanks, although its a 2 channel mixer is it possible to connect 2 cd decks to the mixer as well as using the 2 soundcards?

yep, it is possible,
you can use 2 soundcards and 2 cd players (or vinyl decks)
I am now at a gig and have it connected in similar way.
