Is there a way to convert a .vdj sample to a wav file?

why not just play it and record it while it's playing

If I remember correctly the samples are ogg files. So if you make a copy of the sample file and rename in to ogg, then you could play it in winamp or Windows media player. You could also convert it then to wav, or mp3.

just google for ogg to wave or ogg to mp3 but, remember that you have to change the extension on the file from .vdj to .ogg
