Topic: having problems playing videos after reinstall my software

i been having problems after i reinstall my software it was working good but i resintall my windows now doesn't want to work right because every time i want to play a video send me error invalid version of directx and i reinstall the software but doesn't work keep send me error

Download lastest version of DirectX and lastest drivers of your graphic card and it should work like before.
 
And make sure you have the proper codecs installed to play your video format.

Start > Run...

Enter "dxdiag" and press enter

Check on the window that pops up that your version matches the latest @
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/directx/default.mspx

Once that's done, ensure you have installed any codecs as Superstorm above noted. This is what is most likely causing your problem.
