Forum: Old versions

Topic: I'm having difficulties with the trial version timecoded cd's.

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

I have this setup kind of ghetto rigged up, basically in that I have an RCA to 3.5mm plug going from my Denon DN-S1000 into the line in of my computer, and then the line out from my soundcard going into the line in of channel 1 of my mixer, just trying to see how it works and how I like it before I shell out the bucks for the pro version, however, I'm running ASIO4ALL, and the wavelengths show up, but my Time Code Quality remains at 0%. Was I supposed to burn the timecoded cd as a one track audio cd? Several tracks? MP3 Disc?

Someone help me out here, please.

Actualy you can burn it as mp3 or waw. But it is better to burn as WAW. Try it. And only as 1 track :)

WAW being just a standard CD? Are there some steps I have to take in order to make it work in the burning process, or just drag the mp3 onto the burning queue for an audio cd and burn as usual?

Yes, make Audio CD.

And how can I set it up so my deck controls only the one turntable, for some reason both waveforms are showing up.

Ok, it never said any more than 0% for timecoded vinyl, but for whatever reason, if I exit those menus and just go to the orignal screen where I'm controlling the music, it controls it... Absolutely TERRIBLY, but it control it. Is this common for the music to be severely bogged down sounding, or do I have to keep fiddling with my latency's until something works good, or, will that even happen when I'm using the "standard" setup?

Use the advanced configuration and configure it so that the waveform take up about 3/4 of the available space, does this help your situation? You may have to reduce (or increase) the volume of your line input from your soundcard also.

A full version is requiered in order to have more than one seperate outputs and inputs. Y split just splits your channels to L & R mono signals with available sound configurations in trial version.
